If there was any question that Woods was the best golfer in the world, let that be put to rest. Woods entered the day three shots out of the lead at Muirfield Village Golf Club primed for another one of his Sunday comebacks.
On the day, Woods hit all eighteen of the fairways and sixteen of the greens on a spectacular round of golf for Woods in which he finished with a 12 under 276.
Jim Furyk, Jonathan Byrd, and even Davis Love III all made pushes to reach the top of the leaderboard, but to no avail. Byrd's inconsistency to hit the fairway and Furyk's inconsistency to hit birdie putts both doomed any chance they had of winning.
This is Woods 67th career win on the PGA Tour and his fourth time winning the Memorial. Will Tiger's great play propel him to a win at next weeks St. Jude tournament? Only time will tell if Woods great play will continue.
Bleacher Report will have updates from the St. Jude Tournament next week so stay tuned!
