Winter Olympics 2014: Previewing Team USA's Locks for Gold

Team USA set a Winter Olympics record in 2010 with 37 medals—the most ever by one nation at a single Winter Games.

In 2014, Team USA is sending another 230 athletes to Sochi. They are primed to launch an assault on the medal record that was set four years ago, hopefully earning many that are gold in color.

There will be familiar faces representing Team USA like Shani Davis in speedskating and Bode Miller in downhill skiing, but who are the shoo-ins to top the podium in their given disciplines?
