Nike have announced a new third kit for the Brazil national team ahead of the 2014 World Cup on home soil.
The change strip is a very dark shade of green, and according to the press release "pays tribute to the dynamic and diverse country, from its natural landscape to its vibrant culture."
The statement continues:
Similar to Brasil’s national home jersey, the third uniform displays an illustration on the inside of the collar. Created by Bruno Big, a designer from Rio de Janeiro, the illustration shows a hand in a figa – the Brasilian equivalent to the “fingers crossed” gesture, a traditional superstition believed to bring good luck.
There are flecks of colour, greens and yellows, on the shorts, which Nike adds are inspired by surfing shorts.
The kit is released on February 19.
