Extended Version of NBA All-Star Weekend Commercial Will Get You Pumped Up

Now that ESPN.com has revealed the conference reserves for the 2014 NBA All-Star Game, set for Feb. 16 in New Orleans, there's no better way to get pumped up for All-Star weekend than to watch the extended NBA commercial with league stars.

Minnesota's Kevin Love burying blindfolded three-pointers—"Love is blind!"—Golden State's Stephen Curry draining sugar cubes into Klay Thompson's coffee, Washington's John Wall getting a special delivery, Orlando rookie Victor Oladipo stealing the spotlight from a barbershop quartet—making it a quintet—and Marv Albert killing it at the gym—this commercial has it all.

As competition begins to heat up moving into the second half of the 2013-14 season, it's good for the fans to get a glimpse of the lighter side of things. All-Star weekend is all about the entertainment, after all.

While the actual All-Star Game is the biggest attraction with nearly all of the league's biggest stars on display, fans will also be treated to the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout and Sprite Slam Dunk Contest.

Of course, that fails to mention the BVAA Compass Rising Stars Challenge. Friday's game will feature Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans and Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons—arguably two guys who should have been named All-Stars—as well as Oladipo, Michael Carter-Williams, Trey Burke, Bradley Beal and Giannis Antetokounmpo—you have a representative, Bucks fans!

For one night, opponents will be teammates working together to put on a show before they return to the grind of an 82-game season. Time to get excited, NBA fans, because the hype is building.
