Andy Gray, the veteran Sky Sports football pundit whose career in Britain appeared to have been ended by a sexism scandal in 2011, has been hit by the emergence of a new video.

The 58-year-old had just made an appearance for BT Sport as a co-commentator for Stevenage's FA Cup tie against Everton, on a weekend while Michael Owen was absent. But the release of the new video, which dates back at least a decade, is clearly designed to undermine Gray.

As you can see above, it shows presenter Clare Tomlinson heckled with a chant of "Get your tits out for the lads" by Gray and his long-time television sidekick Richard Keys.

It was uploaded by football blogging site The Football Ramble late on Thursday and spread rapidly overnight.

While the circumstances are not entirely clear, it appears to date back to the time cup finals were played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, explain the Guardianwhich would place it in the early 2000s.

As for the implications of the video, the same paper adds:

The newly leaked footage appears timed to cause Gray maximum embarrassment and could also damage BT Sport's reputation at a time when it has highlighted its ambitious plans for women's sport and given a prominent role to Clare Balding, a passionate advocate of equality in sport.

Keys and Gray work together in Qatar now, having been hired to front the football coverage of BeIN Sport, which is owned by Al-Jazeera.
