Welcome to another edition of 2008-09 Newest NFL MVP. I haven't done one in a while. Over breakfast it hit me, "Aaron Rodgers filled in big shoes and had some big numbers. So why didn't I have him in any other articles earlier?"

He had 4,038 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. With those stats, he had a 93.8 rating.

Nice, huh?

When Brett Favre left, Aaron Rodgers had to fill in his shoes. Brett Favre was Green Bays' big hero, and now it was time for Rodgers to be theirs.

Even though the Packers went 6-10 with Rodgers, compared to a 13-3 season last year with Favre, Rodgers had much better stats then Favre.

I remember watching the first game of the season last year when they played the Minnesota, my favorite team, and I saw a sign saying "Rodgers or bust," and in that gamem the Packers won with Rodgers' passing game.

See why I think he is great and with filling in big shoes and all that he did?

I have two more players to go and then I will go through the NFL MVP articles and do an article on choosing the best player in who I think is the best MVP.

Thanks for reading and please check out my other articles.
