Cincinnati 69, Louisville 66

The No. 13 Cincinnati Bearcats set the tone early against Louisville with their defense and concluded the game with strong free throw shooting.

In the first half, Cincinnati played stingy defense to hold the hosts to a season-low of 20 points.

The second half saw more offense and more drama as the Cardinals continued to rally back all night long against the resilient veteran Bearcats.

When the time called for free throws to be made, the Bearcats did that as well as they shot 17-of-18 from the charity stripe.

Sean Kilpatrick hit four big free throws at the end of the game on his way to a game-high 28 points.

With the victory, the Bearcats extended their winning streak to 13 games and remained undefeated in AAC play.

In defeat, Montrezl Harrell scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Cardinals.
