Tin Cup Past & Present
Future Tin Cup's
What a Movie! If you're a golfer trying to make money like myself, you can relate to this movie's Roy, "Tin Cup" MacVoy.
I've been a driving range pro for twenty years now. I'm the kind of pro who hates following the rules. I always think out-side the box. I don't follow what The PGA's book of instructions tell me. I teach from experience, and heart. Golf is the only sport I know that has taken men with very little money to the top of the financial latter. History proves me right. Ben Hogan, Jimmy Demaret, Arnold Palmer, John Daly, and Lee Trevino just to name a small few.
Golf is miracle cure for respectability out of poverty. Young people need to embrace "The Game of Kings". Golf is a respectable way out of poverty. Drug dealers haven't any majic pills, smokes, or other goodies that can ever produced the increditable high like that of wonderfully played round of golf. I have never felt better about myself, or on a greater high than when I shot my best round on The Cypresswood Course at Champions Golf Course in Houston, Texas. I shot a mind blowing 62 , making a Double Eagle on hole 13, a monsterous 458 yard par 5.
Golf is not dead, it just needs to be better promoted. Tiger was great for the sport, however we need to show the way for younger players to follow that green fairway to their dreams.
This story does not end here, it's just beginning!
