The Tennessee Volunteers defeated the Ole Miss Rebels 86-70 in Knoxville.

It was a nice bounce back game for the Vols after getting destroyed at Florida last time out. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Rebels.

Ole Miss was out played on both ends of the floor. Tennessee shot 49 percent from the field and shot extremely well from beyond the arc going 11-20. They were led in scoring by Jordan McRae with 26 points including six threes.

The Vols dominated the glass. They out rebounded the Rebels 45-27. Jarnell Stokes led them with 14 rebounds and also contributed 12 points.

This should be a good confidence boost for the Vols for the rest of their conference schedule. They will be headed to Alabama next to take on the Crimson Tide on Feb. 1.

Ole Miss was led by Marshall Henderson who had 26 points and was 8-19 from three. They will need to fix their defense if they hope to compete with the top teams in the SEC and make the tournament. The Rebels will return home to face South Carolina on Feb. 1.
