After a wild two-week edition of the Genesis free-per-view, TNA now travels to Europe for the next month of programming. The Jan. 30 episode of Impact Wrestling will emanate from Glasgow, Scotland.

Wrestling fans are ready for a little international flavor.

The focus this Thursday will be on TNA’s new investor. After being teased for the last two weeks, the identity of the person looking to take over the company’s creative decision-making process will be revealed on Impact Wrestling.

Here is all the vital viewing information for this week’s show and a full preview.

Where: The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland

When: Thursday, Jan. 30, 9 p.m. ET

Watch: Spike TV

TNA Gets a New Investor

Over the last two weeks, TNA president Dixie Carter has teased that the company was being infiltrated by another major investor looking to make changes to the product. Since the storyline was introduced during the debut of The Wolves tag team—Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards—speculation has run rampant about who the mystery person could be.

TNA fans find out this week who the mystery man or woman is.

Question on Everybody’s Mind: Will the Reveal Live Up to the Hype?

Whether it’s the Aces & Eights storyline or the never-ending battle between Abyss and Joseph Park, TNA has proved it can ride with a storyline long after it has lost its mainstream luster.

The company has gone the opposite route this time and will reveal the investor just two weeks after introducing the storyline. Something is fishy about this angle, though.

There is a chance this could be one of the biggest moments in the wrestling industry in 2014—bringing in a bona fide star to act as the face built to take down Dixie Carter and her power stable—but there is also the very real possibility that this could be a way to swerve the fans.

Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Mysteries Worth Solving

Naturally, the question for fans turns to who will be revealed as the investor. MVP’s name has been thrown around, and Jeff Jarrett is another rumored name, but there is a chance this is all a ruse to throw fans off the scent.

Sting and AJ Styles both left the company recently. What better way to re-introduce the duo than by allowing them to work together as the investors? TNA is better off with both of these stars on TV, and if they are still secretly with the company, this could be an excellent swerve.

If not Sting or Styles, Impact Wrestling better have something big up its sleeve.

The Tag Team Division Heats Up

TNA has made strides in its programming since Bound for Glory, but the lack of depth and talent in the tag team division has been one of the company’s most glaring issues. After the addition of The Wolves, there will be a tag team championship match between Eric Young and Abyss and The BroMans.

As much as many fans hate the heel tag team, there is no way the duo drops the titles on Thursday.

Question on Everybody’s Mind: Which Team Walks Out with the Titles?

Abyss and Eric Young have been embroiled in the storyline with Joseph Park for almost two years, and it looks like the culmination of the angle is finally almost upon wrestling fans. With the conclusion of that storyline taking precedent over the tag team titles, there would be no reason to take the titles off The BroMans right now.

The decision is also made easier considering The Wolves will need a heel tag team with serious heat to eventually take the belts from.

Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 Tag Team Disasters

There is no doubt that The BroMans have been interesting as a tag team, and the Park/Abyss storyline has had its moments of greatness too. But the interaction between the two programs has been lackluster at best.

TNA has done a great job building both angles individually, but the hope is that the interactions between these four men will stop after the champions successfully defend their titles.

Supporters of the company want The Wolves to challenge for the titles. Don’t be WWE, TNA; give the fans what they want.
