The scheduled starter for the Red Sox Wednesday was Daisuke Matsuzaka. But that changed when he called in sick with the flu.

Now the Sox will put Jon Lester on the mound, his first start on only three days rest.

Dice-K was going to start his fifth game of the season. Instead of going for 5-0 tonight, it will be Lester who takes the mound. This is the second day running that the starter has been scratched mere hours before game time.
