Even the most of diehard Liverpool or Everton supporters will respect the actions of diehard Everton fan Matty Bowman.
In the interest of raising money for ill four-year-old boy George Johnson, Bowman decided he wanted to help out however possible after being made aware of Johnson's story.
According to this report in the Liverpool Echo, Johnson's illness is a mystery and he has to be fed through his heart. His family is attempting to raise £15,000 in order to take him to the United States to try to diagnose as well as further treat the unknown ailment.
For Bowman, the symbol the tattoo represents pains him as an Everton man, but his efforts are helping Johnson's family reach their financial goal.
"His mum has not stopped thanking me," he told the Echo. "We are going out for a meal next week as a thank you. If I didn't want to do it, I wouldn't have done, but I did it for a reason—it was for George.
"I've got a boy the same age."
