Dodger Stadium doesn't have any Major League Baseball games going on from October to March, so the NHL decided to try something new by having the Anaheim Ducks and the Los Angeles Kings play a game there as part of the "Stadium Series."

It's an interesting idea to play a game outdoors in California. There was a lot of buzz surrounding the unique event, but don't count the Los Angeles Dodgers as fans of a hockey game being played in their stadium.
