Hockey Team Wears Opponents Jerseys After Forgetting Their Own

Sticks. Check. Helmets. Check. Pucks. Check. Jerseys...oops.

The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the North American Hockey League had an away game in Corpus Christi, Texas on Thursday night and the equipment team remembered everything but their jerseys. As a result, the team had to wear the away jerseys of their opponent, the IceRays.

The Killer Bees ended up losing the game 2-1, and if you subscribe to the "look good, play good" theory, it probably had something to do with their uniforms.

Thanks to Uni Watch for the photo and Sean Leahy of Yahoo! Sports for the find.
