There was no shortage of talking points in the aftermath of Wednesday night's Manchester United-Sunderland League Cup clash.
Undermined by a lot of poorly taken penalties, a blunder from David de Dea and late heroics from Javier Hernandez was a feat of great athletic achievement.
Only, it came from the referee.
Referee Lee Mason somehow managed to take down Manchester United's Danny Welbeck and Sunderland's Phil Bardsley at once.
Good luck trying to get the referee to show a card for that one, boys.
