Tiger Woods completed his first round of the 2014 golf season, but it was not a memorable one.

Tiger shot an even par 72 that included 14 pars, two birdies and two bogeys.

His round was similar to many that he had last year because he struggled off the tee. He found four fairway bunkers during the round. He recovered nicely most of the time, but he is well back in the pack.

He's going to have to pick it up in the second round if he wants to get close to leader Stewart Cink, who is 8-under after finishing the first round.
