Man City sits a single point behind Arsenal in the Premier League table and are road betting favorites facing Tottenham next week.

There are no EPL matches this weekend with FA Cup play in full swing.

Man City faces Watford from the Championship League this weekend in an FA Cup match, while Tottenham will be well-rested since they were ousted from the FA Cup in the last round.

Midweek, sportsbooks monitored by had Manchester City as the favorite posted at +110 with Tottenham at +220 and a draw line of +260.

Tottenham is in fifth place in the EPL table, but they are unbeaten since mid-December with five wins and one draw including beating Manchester United at Old Trafford. The Spurs have not lost since Tim Sherwood took over the reins as head coach.

If the Spurs are hot, City is scorching, as they have won seven straight matches and have not lost in league play since November 10. Their unbeaten streak began at home with a 6-0 thrashing of Tottenham.

The Spurs came into that match giving up the fewest goals in league play, but were dismantled by the City offensive attack.

To say Man City has a good offense is an understatement, as they have the most goals in league play by a 10-goal margin.

Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure rank second and third respectively in goals in EPL play with Alvaro Negredo ranking sixth. These three players have combined to score 34 goals on the season while Tottenham has scored 29.

The Spurs’ defense had some issues starting with the 6-0 loss to City, which is why the squad changed head coaches. However, their defense has been solid as of late, conceding just three goals in their last five matches, including two clean sheets.

On the season, Manchester City has a goal differential of +38 while Tottenham is only at +3.

Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor, who scored two goals in the Spurs last match, are the scoring leaders for Tottenham, each with five goals apiece. If City can bottle up this duo, they have a good chance to extend their unbeaten streak.

All four of Manchester City’s losses this season have come on the road. Last season at home, Tottenham beat Man City 3-1.

Another intriguing matchup on the EPL odds menu is the London derby between Chelsea and West Ham. Chelsea was a huge favorite.
