Derrick Rose Gets Shots Up While Rehabbing from Latest Knee Injury

Adam FromalNational NBA Featured ColumnistOctober 19, 2016

It's hard not to let a smile creep across your face when you watch Derrick Rose shooting jumpers.

After a prolonged rehabilitation process for his torn ACL led to an entire missed season in 2012-13, Rose was only able to play in 10 games before a meniscus injury knocked him back out of action. The dynamic point guard hasn't officially been ruled out for the season, and seeing him putting up shots this early in the recovery process allows hope for a postseason return to creep back into the equation.

There's no lift on those jumpers, but at least he's out on the court and practicing his shot.
