Li Na def. Eugenie Bouchard 6-2, 6-4.

After getting out to a rapid start in the first set, No. 4 seed Li Na had to dig in and do the dirty work to take down No. 30 Eugenie Bouchard in the women's semifinals at the Australian Open

Li came out on fire in the first set by winning the first five games, but she cooled off a bit during the start of the second set.

In that second set, Li and Bouchard combined for five service breaks and plenty of marathon games that showed us the true resolve of the 19-year-old Canadian, who has a bright future ahead of her.

When it mattered most, Li showed the experience of a true Grand Slam veteran and won her final two service games of the set to close the match out.

Li will now feature in her third Australian Open final in four years, where she will look to win the tournament for the first time against either Dominika Cibulkova or Agnieszka Radwanska.
