After Levante earned a 1-1 draw against Barcelona in La Liga, the two clubs will now battle for a spot in the semifinals of the Copa del Rey.

Barcelona have clearly been the better club throughout the season, sitting on top of the league table with 51 points in 20 matches, tied with Atletico Madrid. Meanwhile, Levante sit in 11th place while being inconsistent both at home and on the road.

However, Sunday's match proved that anyone is capable of an upset when things go right. Considering Barca have to play another contest on the road at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia, anything is possible in this first leg of the Copa del Rey quarterfinals tie.

Here is a guide of what to watch in Wednesday's battle.

Top Storyline: Can Barcelona Be More Productive on the Attack?

Despite being one of the highest-scoring clubs in Europe, Barcelona could not do much against Levante in their league match.

They only scored one goal and had a hard time turning possession into quality shots. With Neymar and Andres Iniesta not available, the stars up front were unable to get too many touches.

However, manager Tata Martino does not seem concerned about the result, via Dermot Corrigan of ESPN:

It was not our day in front of goal. It is not worrying for the future if we understand that at the start [of the season] we won without playing very well. Now it is the contrary.

This game does not worry me because, out of ten, we win nine times.

Still, the offense has to be more productive in this one for the club to earn a win. This means that midfielders like Xavi and Cesc Fabregas had to get the ball to the forwards, and Lionel Messi and Pedro have to finish when they get a chance.

Otherwise, this is a problem that could stick with Barcelona going forward.

Prediction: Barcelona 3, Levante 1

Levante were able to come away with a draw in the previous match by utilizing an extremely defensive approach. They kept most of their players in front of the net and hoped to capitalize on counter-attacks.

However, they might not be able to continue this strategy in a two-legged event like the Copa del Rey. They have to work to score goals at home or else could end up being left behind on aggregate score.

Meanwhile, Barcelona were a bit unlucky and will likely get better looks at the net in this match. Messi appears to be in top form, and he should make a difference with his ability to score from almost anywhere on the pitch.

Levante could be able to score another goal on a counter, but the home club will not be able to keep up on the scoresheet.
