The Indianapolis Star is reporting that the Indianapolis Colts will look to add advertisements on their practice jerseys. Each team will only be allowed one sponsor. The sponsor will not be on the game uniforms, and there is limitations on the size of the patches.

The advertisements are limited to appropriate ads. Gambling, weapons, and other sports leagues are some of the topics that can not be advertised. It is likely that the Colts will choose an Indianapolis based company.

I predict Edward Jones will be the Colts advertiser. The economy is down, and people in the economy will do anything for a little more viewership.
