Real Madrid to Play a 1-6-3 (Satire)
Ah, the "engineer" of the Galactico Era, Mr. Florentino Perez, is back as the president of Real Madrid, and the best attacking players that the world has to offer are all linked with Los Blancos.
Let me name a few just for the sake of it. We have Kaka (done deal?), Xabi Alonso, Cristiano Ronaldo, Franck Ribery, David Silva, David Villa—and they all are supposedly the "prime targets" of Mr. Perez.
I don't know about you guys, but I sure did a lot of thinking in finding the best possible formation for the Galacticos II (yes, at the success rate of Mr. Perez, this Madrista was forced to!).
What I really couldn't understand is Real had a real problem defending this season, so why in hell are no defenders linked with Real Madrid? I was browsing the Internet for any rumors linking defenders with Real Madrid, and then suddenly I realised the genius behind signing no real defenders.
The world will be introduced to a new formation where all hell will be broken loose on the goalkeepers (both of them)!
I present to you the 1-6-3!
In defence, we will have a high-flying defender in Sergio Ramos, who loves to attack more than he loves to defend.
Poor Casillas, I still can't imagine him smiling, but look at the bright side—he will be very well prepared for the upcoming World Cup in South Africa (no one would be able to put a ball through Casillas).
In midfield, we will have one holding midfielder in Lassana Diarra (someone has to defend, duh). Xabi Alonso, Kaka, and Silva as the playmakers, and Cristiano Ronaldo and Franck Ribery to be deployed on the wings.
In forwards, there will be Mr. Irreplaceable and the captain Raul (try keeping him on the bench, Mr. Manuel Pellegrini; then you would enjoy the treatment from the fans at the Bernabeu), and Gonzalo Higuain playing as support to David Villa.
Looking forward to watch a match with the scoreline 15-14 every time Real play!
"Entertainment Returns" is the motto of Mr. Perez. I wonder what could be more entertaining?
