No. 8 Kansas overcame 16 turnovers by shooting 26-for-29 from the free-throw line during Monday night’s 78-68 victory over No. 24 Baylor at Phog-Allen Fieldhouse.

Perry Ellis paced the Jayhawks (14-4, 5-0) with 18 points. Sensational freshman Andrew Wiggins scored 17 points and grabbed seven rounds. Joel Embiid, one of college basketball's premier bigs, had 12 points and four rebounds—not to mention 4-for-4 from the stripe.

The Bears (13-5, 1-4) were led by Brady Heslip’s game-high 19 points. Cory Jefferson and Isaiah Austin each scored 16 points.

With another impressive win, Bill Self's Jayhawks remain in the driver seat in the Big 12 as they continue working toward a 10th consecutive conference title.
