Russell Wilson Takes Advantage of Free Play, Throws 35-Yard TD

When you get a free play in the NFL, you might as well take a shot down the field. The Seattle Seahawks did exactly that in the fourth quarter of the NFC Championship Game Sunday.

On a crucial 4th-and-7 from the San Francisco 49ers' 35-yard line, Seattle decided to go for it after taking a timeout. The 49ers' Aldon Smith got an early jump, and Wilson took a shot down the field.

Receiver Jermaine Kearse made a great play in traffic to come down with the touchdown to give the Seahawks a 20-17 lead.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll was pretty fired up about the touchdown:
