Trade Ideas To Get Victor Martinez and Cliff Lee on the Mets

NEW YORK - APRIL 16: Cliff Lee #31 of the Cleveland Indians pitches against the New York Yankees during opening day at the new Yankee Stadium on April 16, 2009 in the Bronx borough of New York City. This is the first regular season MLB game being played at the new venue which replaced the old Yankee Stadium as the Yankees home field. As a Met fan, these two players are the top two that i would want. Martinez would be huge for the offense, and when Delgado comes back we can move him behind the plate. The Rotation with Lee as the No.3 would be great. This would also let us move Maine to the seventh inning when Oliver comes back, so here is what we are giving up.

No way we will trade Parnell right now, so i offer:

OF  FERNANDO MARTINEZ

SP  JON NIESE

SP  DILLION GEE

SP  BRAD HOLT

2B  JOSH SATIN

What do you think???

I think that is fair. The Mets don't want to part with Holt or F-Mart, but they have to, to get this deal done.
