In what will go down as an instant classic, the Seattle Seahawks were able to come back and finish off the San Francisco 49ers at CenturyLink Field, advancing to Super Bowl XLVIII. They will play Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos two weeks from now.

It was an epic battle as expected, but turnovers by the 49ers would spoil a great performance by their defense.

Eventually, Russell Wilson and the Seahawks climbed right back into this game and never relinquished control. They made the plays when it counted and made the 49ers pay for not capitalizing on their own. In any case, the NFC will be well represented in the Super Bowl.

Final

49ers 17, Seahawks 23
