LEXINGTON, KY - JANUARY 18: James Young
CBS Sports

Everyone takes a bad shot once in a while, but it's rare to see a bad layup. On Saturday, Kentucky's James Young proved the exception to that rule.

Against Tennessee, Young drove to the rim and attempted to get the easy basket, but his shot sailed over the backboard and hit the shot clock. The Wildcats still went on to beat the Volunteers, 74-66, to move to 13-4 on the year. Young finished with eight points on 3-of-9 shooting.

Hat-tip to Michael Tomasone from TheScore.com for the find.
