Jake Peavy Headed to Big Apple?

After a CY Young award in 2007, Peavy is awaiting a new home. Peavy is in talks about being dealt to the baseball capital: The Bronx.

Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira was interviewed after today's victory, and said, "Peavy would be a great player with our ball club. I sure could not hit him when I was on the Braves."

Kim Jones tried to contact Yankees President Randy Levine but he declined to comment on the talks with the Padres.
