Jose Mourinho's Personal Welcome for Journalist Returning to Work After Cancer

Jose Mourinho is used to a packed press room whenever he appears before the media, but the Chelsea boss made the day of one journalist returning to Stamford Bridge for the first time since beating cancer.

Rags Martel, who works for ITV News, tweeted the video of the exchange, which took place just before Mourinho gave his thoughts on the upcoming Chelsea clash with Manchester United.

Martel wrote: "Jose spots me, gets up and shakes my hand: "Welcome back". Special."

The Portuguese manager, 50, has a reputation for being confrontational in his dealings at times, but is also known for being extremely attentive to detail and considerate to those in and around the clubs he manages.

It has to be a better PR move than banning journalists.
