Report: New Texas Head Coach Charlie Strong Sends Players List of Expectations

Charlie Strong took over as head coach of the Texas Longhorns football team earlier in January, and he wasted no time setting expectations for his players.

He built a winner at Louisville. The coach is striving to do the same right away in Austin, rather than go through a rebuilding process.

Strong and the coaching staff met with the players and set the standards for the program. SB Nation Barking Carnival's Scipio Tex shared Strong's reported expectations:

It looks like Strong is going to be running a tight ship at Texas. He isn't getting caught up in just winning. He wants his players to represent the university on the field and in the classroom.

After the coach's success with the Cardinals, the Longhorns should be willing to follow the rules.
