The No. 3 Wisconsin Badgers are one of just four unbeaten teams in the nation as they arrive in Bloomington to take on the Indiana Hoosiers.

Indiana, which is 11-5 on the year, has won nine of its 10 home games and has been tough in rare cases where they are home underdogs. The UNDER has cashed in four of the last five meetings in this Big Ten clash.

Badgers vs. Hoosiers point spread: Wisconsin opened as 4.5-point road favorites; the total had not been set as of Tuesday morning. Check for line updates and matchup report details.

Odds Shark computer prediction: 73-67 Wisconsin

Why Wisconsin can cover the spread

The well-balanced Badgers (16-0) have four players averaging double digits and 13 who have contributed in scoring. Wisconsin, which has beaten Indiana 12 straight times, has covered its last six trips to Bloomington and 10 of 12 meetings overall.

The road team is on a 6-1 against-the-spread run in this series, and the Badgers own a profitable 9-5-1 ATS in 15 games this season as chalk, according to the Odds Shark college basketball database.

Why Indiana can cover the spread

The Hoosiers avoided opening Big Ten conference play with three straight losses by knocking off Penn State on Saturday, with a 79-76 win. It was the type of motivating win Indiana needed.

The Hoosiers score 84 points per game at home, while limiting foes to just 65 PPG in Bloomington.

Smart Pick

Though Indiana snapped its two-game skid Saturday, it had to rally to defeat Penn State. Wisconsin is a huge step up in class for the Hoosiers.

The Badgers have covered five of six overall, while Indiana is mired in ATS slides of 0-4 at home and 1-5 overall.

Take Wisconsin.

  • Wisconsin is 10-2 ATS in its last 12 games vs. Indiana
  • Badgers are 15-0 SU, 9-5-1 ATS past 15 games as favorite
  • Indiana is 4-1 ATS as a home underdog since 2011
