Lukas Podolski Can't Believe It When Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Gets on Before Him

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's return to action for Arsenal in the Premier League victory at Aston Villa was good news for everyone involved at the club, with the exception of Lukas Podolski.

The German clearly had hoped to be getting on the field himself, and his shake of the head and zipping up of his jacket was captured on camera.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was making his first appearance after a knee injury suffered on the opening day of the season.

Podolski, meanwhile, has found opportunities hard to come by for the Gunners this season with Olivier Giroud preferred as the lone striker and Arsenal's attacking midfield abundantly stocked.

He did, however, take to Twitter later to express his support for his teammate:

Good feeling to see Ox on the pitch again. I'm happy for you, bro! #comeback #theox #poldi #afc #aha
