The cat appears to be out of the bag regarding the return of a top WWE Superstar, as a local newspaper is advertising Chris Jericho for a live event in his hometown in the buildup to WrestleMania 30.
Per Marc Middleton of LordsofPain.net, the Winnipeg Sun has perhaps ruined the surprise of a Chris Jericho return in the near future, as they advertised him for a forthcoming live event in March:
The Winnipeg Sun in Canada may have spoiled Chris Jericho's WWE return. They wrote the following today:
"Chris Jericho is bringing the WWE to Winnipeg.
The World Tour is coming to MTS Centre March 7.
Other stars coming to Winnipeg include CM Punk, Big Show, R-Truth, The Miz and Daniel Bryan."
Despite Jericho furiously denying he was set to return to the WWE via his Twitter account in recent weeks, it does look as though Jericho's local newspaper appears to have spoiled the return for WWE fans. Whilst many people may have taken the WWE's first ever unified champion's comments with a pinch of salt, this does seem to add further weight to the fact Jericho is returning pretty soon.
After all, this time of year does seem to be the time when Jericho's WWE commitments fit in with his touring with band Fozzy. He returned last year as a surprise entrant in the 2013 Royal Rumble, coming in at No. 2 to take on Dolph Ziggler in the opening exchanges of the match.
He hasn't been seen on WWE TV since July, when an attack from Ryback wrote him out of television for a prolonged period, as he was scheduled to go on tour with Fozzy.
Even before this recent development, many people would have still expected Y2J to make a surprise entrance in the 2014 Royal Rumble and ending his exile from the company. All these developments appear to have done is somewhat give the game away regarding Jericho's immediate future.
