Rio Ferdinand is fairly sure that Cristiano Ronaldo will win the Ballon d'Or, and the Manchester United man has put the following threat on Twitter to prove his confidence:

If @Cristiano doesn't win the Balon D'or tonight.....I will run down the street butt naked! Won't be a great sight I tell ya!! Come on CR7!

It's not a threat that presumably many people, Ferdinand included, want to see materialise.

Ronaldo is hot favourite to win the award for the second time, with Oddschecker quoting odds of roughly 1-to-33 in favour of a Portuguese triumph (at the time of writing).
