Bleacher Report

When San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers realized his team's season was only minutes from being over, he couldn't watch anymore.

The Denver Broncos converted three critical third downs, and they were able to run out the clock. Apparently, it was too much for Rivers.

San Diego's defense had its chances to stop Denver and give the offense the ball back with a chance to tie the game, but the defense couldn't come up with a big stop.

Denver held on for a 24-17 victory and will host the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game next Sunday.
