Today, Wednesday, June 3rd, Ben Roethlisberger threw in the towel during practice after tweaking his knee running.

The Steelers' training staff took a long look at Ben, and he returned to the field to watch his teammates finish out practice in a polo, shorts, and a baseball hat (no brace on the knee).

Charlie Batch took runs with the first team, in Ben's absence. After practice, Coach Tomlin declined to speak about the injury until he received more information about what happened.

There are only four practices left in mini-camp for the defending champions, one this week and three next week.
