Woodhead and San Diego are at home against the Chiefs this week. He had eight carries for 52 yards and three receptions for 16 yards in last week’s win over Oakland.
Despite the impressive improvement of teammate Ryan Mathews, Woodhead remains an important part of what the Chargers do. Over his last five performances, he has alternated solid performances with poor showings, leaving owners frustrated at his inconsistency. That is the nature of his game, however, so Week 17 against Kansas City represents another roll of the dice for those who start him.
