Vereen suffered a groin injury in Week 16 against Baltimore, but at least helped out his fantasy owners somewhat by catching a four-yard touchdown pass before leaving. He's been present in practice this week and seems likely to play this week against the Bills, who allowed him to turn 14 carries and seven catches into 159 total yards back in Week 1.
The Patriots are playing for home-field advantage in the playoffs, so assuming Vereen is good to go, his fantasy owners' main concern will be that the Pats jump out to a big lead early and let Vereen rest up for the postseason. He remains a PPR wunderkind and, health permitting, should at the very least put up a productive first half against Buffalo.
