After delighting fantasy owners with a five-game touchdown streak, Davis came up with a big goose egg last week, seeing three targets but failing to record a single catch. Word is that he got something in his eye early in the game and was just never right, but if the 49ers have any hope of winning this one, they're going to need him to be in top form.
The Cardinals will do what they can to stifle Davis, but their track record against the tight end position this year has been suspect, at best. Currently, Arizona ranks 20th in the league against the position and is allowing an average of 77.9 yards per game.
