Football, College Football, Big Ten Football, Penn State Football, Joe Paterno
The chatter continues about whether or not 2008 will be Joe Paterno's last year. Stewart Mandel, for www.si.com writes that if PSU has a big year in 2008, it may be hard to push Joe out the door. I seem to disagree. I hope for a big year and maybe Joe will step down and leave on a high note. Of course we cannot push him out because he is of course the reason Penn State Football is on the map.

Mandel talks about the recent off field issues which are definitely are concern. Joe needs to take control of that and make Penn State Football the class act it's always been.

In the meantime, as Mandel points out, 73,000 people at the Blue White spring football game on Saturday April 19 proves that fans have high hopes for 2008, and Penn State football is here to stay.
