Andre Brown: Week 17 Fantasy Outlook

Bleacher Report AdministratorSenior Analyst IIJanuary 8, 2014

Brown suffered a concussion in Sunday's OT win over the Detroit Lions, and New York could choose to sit Brown for its Week 17 matchup with the Washington Redskins. Brown has been by far the best rusher for the Giants this season, and it would appear silly to risk further injury with nothing to play for, as the Giants have already been limited from postseason contention.
Michael Cox would get the start if Brown can't go. In just seven games in 2013, Brown rushed for 481 yards and three touchdowns. David Wilson struggled mightily as the starter before suffering a season-ending injury, so all signs would point to Brown having the inside track in 2014. His 2013 season might be finished, though.
