Brent Celek: Week 17 Fantasy Outlook

Bleacher Report AdministratorSenior Analyst IIJanuary 8, 2014

Celek has five touchdowns this season, and is averaging an impressive 14.9 yards per reception. However, he has only caught 29 balls this season, and continues to vie with rookie tight end Zach Ertz for opportunities in the Philadelphia offense.
It has been difficult to predict which tight end will go off for the Eagles on a week-to-week basis. Last week, it was Celek who led the Eagles in receiving yards while also finding the end zone. Two weeks ago, it was the rookie Ertz who was targeted nine times and garnered 57 yards and a touchdown through the air. There should be plenty of ball to go around against the inferior Dallas Cowboy passing defense Sunday night, but bust potential exists due to the sharing of targets between the two tight ends.
