The Kansas City Chiefs blew a 28-point lead in the final 27 minutes of Saturday's playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts for a heartbreaking 45-44 loss.

After tossing out any victory headlines it had in waiting,The Kansas City Star published something far more accurate for Chiefs fans.

And the coinciding picture couldn't have worked any better.

In that play, Colts quarterback Andrew Luck recovered a fumble that took a favorable bounce off his center's helmet. Luck was able to pick it up and score a touchdown.

Thanks to The Kansas City Star's Jeff Rosen for the photo, and hat tip to Awful Announcing's Matt Yoder for the find.
