Bart Hubbuch of the NY Post is reporting that Jerry Manuel will have a talk with J.J. Putz on Wednesday, and there's speculation that the struggling set-up man may lose his eighth inning role.

Many, including myself, have been saying that Bobby Parnell should be setting-up until Putz gets himself right.
Putz has a record of 1-4 with two blown saves and a 4.36 ERA this season.

Asked if that meant he was planning to give Putz's set-up role to Bobby Parnell, Pedro Feliciano or a combination of those two, Manuel smiled.

"I'm going to have that conversation [Wednesday]," he said. "If I tell you now, then that'll get me in trouble." source NY Post
