Point guard Kendall Marshall signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in December, and now he is hoping that his superstar teammate, Kobe Bryant, will follow him on Twitter.

Marshall's plea came shortly after Bryant tweeted he will be more selective in who he follows:

New follow system comin.. 2 much clutter as it is #twitnoise

— Kobe Bryant (@kobebryant) January 4, 2014

On Friday against the Utah Jazz, Marshall had 20 points and 15 assists. If he keeps putting up those numbers, Bryant's interest might just be piqued.

Hat tip to USA Today For The Win's Nick Schwartz for the find.
