Tarec Saffiedine made his long awaited UFC debut by defeated Hyun Gyu Lim by unanimous decision in a fight that he should have stopped a lot earlier.

Saffiedine had Lim hurt by leg kicks multiple times, but chose to grapple or abandon leg kicks to let Lim back in the fight. The decision nearly cost him as Lim almost finished the former Strikeforce Welterweight Champion in the closing seconds.

The first UFC Fight Pass fight card was a success overall. Nine other bouts helped fill out the night of action that included some solid performances and finishes.
