The NHL Winter Classic was held on New Year's Day at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor between the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs.

The fans were out in full force in a packed stadium, including this excited Red Wings fan who wanted his moment to shine on live TV by videobombing a local reporter.

It didn't really work out as planned, though, as the fan crashed down to the ground in a heap after losing his footing.

Better luck next time, bud!

Thanks to Stephen Douglas of The Big Lead for the find.
