Cody Zeller Misses Dunk as 2014 Starts Poorly for Him

No matter how badly your New Year's Eve and start to 2014 may have gone, it likely doesn't hold a candle to Cody Zeller's.

Zeller missed a wide-open dunk in Wednesday's tilt with the Los Angeles Clippers, slamming the ball into the front of the rim before watching DeAndre Jordan grab the rebound.

To make matters worse, it doesn't seem like Zeller's New Year's Eve went much better than his game against L.A.

In fact, the fourth overall pick in the 2013 draft has been having a pretty rough couple of months overall. He is averaging just 5.2 points and 4.1 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game, and shooting just 37.6 percent from the field. The Charlotte Bobcats have gotten off to a decent start in 2013-14, but it is not thanks to Zeller's play.

Here's hoping one of Zeller's New Year's resolutions was "learn to finish at the rim."
