Behind a stellar fourth quarter, the visiting Portland Trail Blazers (25-7) defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder (25-6) by a final score of 98-94 on New Year's Eve.

After trailing for the firs three quarters, Portland outscored OKC 27-16 in the fourth as the defense tightened up and a few shots started falling from outside.

LaMarcus Aldridge led a balanced attack with 25 points and 14 rebounds as all five Blazers starters reached double-figures. Damian Lillard was second on the team with 21 points.

For the Thunder, Kevin Durant led the way with 37 points and 14 rebounds. However, he was held to just one point in the final frame.
