After a long Memorial Day weekend the Texans returned to the practice field this week to continue workouts and training. The main thrust continues to be the defense.

Defensive end Antonio Smith worked out with the team for the first time this week. He is still learning the new system, but is already forecasting the Texans to make the playoffs this year. Smith is quoted as saying that he has the same vibe with the Texans that he had last year with Arizona.

Wide receiver and return man Jacoby Jones is back with a new attitude. He received his college degree this summer and is training harder than before.
